Made my new Hugo theme island
Inspired by PaperMod and Stack. From PaperMode, I love the narrow main column and the way to define cover image. But for information such as translations and table of contents, I prefer to place in the right aside columne, so that users don’t have tp scroll up and down when reading pages.
Configurations such as main menu(menu in navigation bar), multilingual, are following Hugo’s official document as much as possible.
The mobile navigation, there was a advanced design, with a button lay at bottom left of the page, and touch it to open the fullscreen navigation, hope it’s better on phones with one hand’s operation. However it looks overkill, for a simple blog theme, so it was not taken at the end.
A multi-author system based on Taxonomies has been implemented. Besides cover images, authors also get avatar images.
The comment system has not been implemented yet. However, it can be implemented by overriding partials/custom.html and partials/head-custom.html on your own.
